OCULAR ALLERGY STUDY

Advantage West Midlands (AWM) is funding a new study to investigate how allergies affect the eyes. The study is a being carried out by the Optometry Department of Aston University and the National Pollen and Aerobiology Research Unit (NPARU) (University of Worcester) as part of AWM’s Birmingham Science City Project.

It is hoped that this study will reveal an estimate of the prevalence of ocular allergies in the population; the severity of signs and symptoms relating to the eyes as a result of allergies; and the most effective way(s) of managing eye allergies

Thank you to everyone who has volunteered to take part in this study.
